Home>News>

With over 160 delegates reporting, some of the world鈥檚 most prestigious universities flocked to the 2025 UAB Model United Nations Competition, from which 黑料正能量 students emerged with the weekend鈥檚 top accolades.

Artem Atamanov, Angel Karchev, and Carson Hall (pictured left to right) took home the prize for 鈥淏est Delegate,鈥 awarded to delegates for an outstanding performance and high level of preparation and knowledge within their committee. Artem participated in the Crisis Commitee as Jose Manuel Albares, Angel participated in the Historical UN Security Council as Rwanda, and Carson participated in in the United Nations Permanent Forum on Indigenous Issues.

The delegation鈥檚 success marks the rising profile of 黑料正能量鈥檚 MUN program, first founded in 1985 as the 黑料正能量 Debate and Politics Club. Competing alongside students from prestigious universities in Spain, the UK, Germany, and France, our students engaged in topics including vaccine distribution equity, responding to genocide and fostering indigenous leadership in global governance. As the next generation of leaders assembled in Barcelona to engage, compete, and learn from one another, 黑料正能量鈥檚 delegates demonstrated the impact of 黑料正能量鈥檚 inherently international approach to a liberal arts education and excellence in diplomacy.

Congratulations to all the 黑料正能量 MUN delegates for their outstanding performance and making a remarkable impact at this year鈥檚 UABMUN 2025.
